Gran Turismo Sport Drift Championship is the first Gran Turismo drift championship. There are 32 competitors.
The competitors get 2 qualifying runs to try and get the best score out of 100. Their qualifying score will decide whether who they compete against. Two drivers compete at a time in an elimination style battle. There are two runs per battle each person gets a chance to lead and chase. The lead driver has to get as close as they can to a 100 point qualifying run while the chase driver tries to replicate the leads run while staying as close as they can to them. At the end of the two runs the 3 judges can choose between driver 1, driver 2, or a one more time.

Round 1
October 6
Qualifying Starts at 12:00 pm est.
Top 32 starts at 3:00 pm est
The next round, round 1, of GTSDC will be held at Autodromo de Interlagos. The start of the section is at the beginning of the straight after turn 5. The two drivers will line up at the beginning of the rumble strip on the outside after turn 5. The driver on the left will lead because they are on the outside of the first corner. It is a 50-60 mph roll to the 150 meter marker before turn 6. After the 150 marker the lead can go at any speed. The drivers will initiate around the 50 marker get close to the inside clipping point at the middle of the inside rumble strip of turn 6. The drivers have to hold as much angle as possible up the hill to the touch and go on the two white unicorn signs. After the touch and go the drivers get to a hefty decel zone to try and get to the inside clip on turn 8. Next the drivers have to transition to a clipping point on the inside of the corner on the rumble strip. The clipping point is directly opposite of the first Blu Strada sign. The drivers continue to the rest of the section which ends under the GoPro bridge.
